What is CineplayMAX?

CineplayMAX is a virtual cinema through which Users can access movies, and other audiovisual content, available online. It offers a variety of content, from multiple genres, as well as film releases that are not available in any other medium.
How do I create an account on CineplayMAX?
In order to use the service, you must register at www.cineplaymax.com and create an account with accurate and updated information. The process is as follows:

  1.  Log into www.cineplaymax.com
  2. Click on “Register”, in the top right-hand side of the screen.
  3. Fill in the required information:

Email
Password
Confirm password

  1. Click on the box if you want to receive news from CineplayMAX.
  2. Click on “Register”. By selecting this option, you accept and agree with the Terms and Conditions of the service.  
Your account becomes active immediately.

How can I access CineplayMAX?

Once your account is created, you will be able to purchase content and modify your profile information. The process is as follows:

  1. Log into cineplaymax.com
  2. Click on “Login”, at the top right-hand side of the screen.
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Click on “Login”.
I forgot my password, what should I do?

You can set a new password by following these steps:

  1. Log into cineplaymax.com
  2. Click on “Login”, at the top right-hand side of the screen.
  3. Click on “Forgot Password?” at the bottom right-hand side of the screen.
  4. You will then receive an email with specific instructions to reset your password.
Do I need to create an account to access content on CineplayMAX?

We do require you to create an account in order to watch the content.

Do I need to pay to create an account on CineplayMAX?

All accounts on CineplayMAX are free to create.

In which countries is CineplayMAX available?

CineplayMAX is available in the following countries: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.

ACCESS TO CONTENT

Are films available to rent on CineplayMAX or is it a subscription service?

Films are rented on a Pay Per View or rent basis. Once payment for film rental is confirmed, you will be able to watch the purchased content in any of the compatible devices for the authorized period. There are no monthly or yearly subscriptions.

How long do I have to watch a film once I have completed my rental purchase?

Once you have purchased your film, and from the moment you play your content, you have 48 hours to watch it. You can stop, rewind, fast forward and re-watch as many times as you like, however, these actions do not extend the time available to watch the content.

How much do films cost to rent on CineplayMAX?

Visit the movie of your choice to confirm the price of your virtual ticket for that particular content.

Do I need to be connected to the Internet to watch a film on CineplayMAX?

Films are streamed via internet; hence you need to be connected to the internet. You will not be able to download any content to your device.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

How do I pay for a film on CineplayMAX?

Once you’ve selected your film, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your CineplayMAX account.
  2. Choose your favorite content.
  3. Click on “Watch Now”.
  4. Fill in the required information.
  5. Choose your payment method.
  6. You will be redirected to the “Pay U Latam” payment platform to complete your order.
After the payment, you will be able to request, if you wish, your invoice; please contact us at contacto@cineplaymax.com to request it. 

Can I request a refund?

Once the payment is done, it cannot be reversed. This is why it is not possible to make refunds. Also, no refunds are given for unwatched content.

What payment methods do you accept on CineplayMAX?

All transactions are made through PayU payment gateway. Payments in local currency are available in Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.

How do I know my payment was successful?

You will receive an email and payment receipt confirmation immediately after your purchase.

In how many devices can I watch the content?

You will be able to watch the content in 1 device.

Can I enable subtitles or change languages?
Yes. All movies are available in their original language, with the option to enable subtitles. Some movies will have the option to enable subtitles in other languages as well.  

To enable subtitles, play the content. In the bottom right-hand side of the screen you will find three figures; the first one corresponds to “Subtitles”. By clicking on this figure, you can enable or disable subtitles.

Some movies are dubbed into Spanish. Go to the available content list to verify if your chosen movie is available in this format, and proceed to the purchase of that particular content.

How can I communicate directly with Customer Service?

Is CineplayMAX website secure?

Yes. The platform is compatible with PCI security standards, a secure connection for online payments. It is focused on preventing unauthorized third parties from accessing your personal data.

DISCOUNT COUPONS AND VOUCHERS

I have a discount coupon; how can I enable it?

To enable your discount coupon, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your CineplayMAX account.
  2. Choose your favorite content.
  3. Click on "Watch Now".
  4. Enter the Coupon Code on the space enabled for it and click on "Apply".
  5. CineplayMAX will inform you if the coupon is accepted, and the value of your saving.
  6. Proceed with the payment of the remaining value.
I have a voucher; how can I enable it?

To enable your voucher, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your CineplayMAX account.
  2. Choose your favorite content.
  3. Click on "Watch Now".
  4. Go to the tab named "Voucher".
  5. Enter the Voucher Code on the space enabled for it and click "Apply".
  6. CineplayMAX will inform you if the voucher is accepted.
  7. Click on "Watch Now" and the content will play immediately.
What is the difference between discount coupon and voucher?

As its name implies, the coupon is a discount code for the purchase of content. The voucher is a code for free access to content.
